We're excited to announce that Electric Air and Helios Climate Industries have merged. We're bringing together experience from renewables, automotive and aerospace to tackle a hugely important challenge - building electrification. Today Electric Air is a tech enabled HVAC contractor focused on providing the best heating and cooling systems for homeowners while reducing the upfront and operational costs of these systems.

Electric Air was founded by Chris Mui, focusing on developing next generation heat pump systems. We continue this effort with our work on sophisticated heat pump controls and improving the homeowner experience both in the purchasing process, as well as normal operation. Electric Air is funded by Y Combinator and participated in the Winter 23 batch.

Helios Climate Industries was founded by Jeremy Osborne and Shreyas Sudhakar and went through the Summer 2023 batch of Y Combinator. After talking to homeowners across the US interested in heat pumps they realized that cost of installation was one of the main barriers to adoption; in many cases it wipes out potential energy savings. They set out to build a company focused on driving down the cost of installs through improvements to labor, software and hardware.
